I have over 25 years of experience in the industry working in Animation, Concept Design, Art Direction, IP Development, Creative Direction and Art Team Management. I was also an instructor at Vancouver Film School (Senior Instructor for 2 years) in their 'Animation and Concept Art' program. I have seen thousands upon thousands of portfolios and only hired, give or take, fifty artists to work on the projects/teams that I have led.

• Review your portfolio and have an honest chat about where your skillz are at based on where you want to go
• Talk about how to get your portfolio structured to show you at your best
• Talk about what I look for when I'm hiring
• Talk about skills/tools you may need to acquire/push to get to that next level
• Give you tips on how to improve your work, areas to focus on to make sure your work impresses

I can discuss any aspect or type of concept art with you as well so if you're an Environment artist, a Character Designer, a Hard Surface designer or if you want to work in AAA Video Games, Film, TV or Feature Animation... we can talk about it!

WHAT I WON'T DO IN THIS REVIEW:

• Lie to you about your chances in the industry:
• IF I don't think I can help you OR think you should go elsewhere for more foundational help etc. I will let you know before our first session.
• IF you sign up you'll send me your portfolio link to review before our session so I can review it and either tell you to look elsewhere OR be prepped and ready to go for our session
• Tell you my story about the marketing meeting before G3 when I was at LucasArts (OK, if you ask I will)
